Peaceful Ballerina Structure

Anatomy study I did pretty much from my head that kinda got outta hand. It all started out as a random sketch (they all do) then I just turned it into a digital piece. Seems like I'm getting the hang of adding muscles in the right places. But it's sad to have to break it down to a lack of detail to make her look more feminine, because I lose all my hard work I did on those hidden muscles. But anyway enjoy the video it has good music and can make any bad mood into a peaceful one. Good-bye.

Evil vs Good Facial Characters

Here's a little quick lighting animation, done in photoshop something me and my friend threw together in 2 mins. He  was sketching away at his own style of the main character in the movie Tangled while I was jaw dropping my face at the computer screen at the skills of the artists that worked on the movie. He pretty much tried to prove to me that it was easy to draw just as good as the artists at Dreamworks. Low and behold he kinda got off track and drew an evilish kinda version of the main character. I took a quick look at his drawing and erased some features and said there now he looks like a good guy. So placing them next to each other would could see for yourself who's evil and who's good. This showed me that simple little and subtle details can really make a character. Little things like his mouth grinning and the line extending from his nose also the longer line by his jaw made him look like a sinister type of character erasing those few features changed his whole look making him look more humble, younger, and innocent. These key things are ways to manipulate the facial character of a character.
